Life in the fast lane

Ok so first off my wireless card had a battle with Ellie and lost...so I haven't been on line for a while. Only when Sam can spare his computer for a few min which is not much between math and midterms.

There is a spirit to this new house of ours. It has been such a blessing to have a home for the 1st time. I want to clean this house it makes me happy to see the beauty of it. I want to bake and cook for real. I love doing yard work.
The spirit in this house is ENERGY...

October was a crazy month! We started of this
month with loss. We said good bye to a very special Grandmother and felt the pain of a whole year with out Dad.
The spirit of this house is LOSS and COMFORT...

After 3 months of soul searching and telling God what I wanted him to do for me I gave up! I finally had to come to terms with the fact I needed to go back to work. So I grieved the loss of my "stay at home mom" title put on my big girl pants and went back to work!!! Sam has been so understanding and loving. Giving me time and helping in anyway he can. Now I'm relying on the experience strength and hope of those around me both living and passed. I know I can do this.
The spirit of this house is COURAGE...

We have been spending more time as a family whenever we can. We spend the weekends doing yard work. Trimming trees, pulling weeds, mowing the lawn and cutting out all the sunflowers. We ended all of our hard work with a fun little marsh mellow roast!
The spirit of this house is HARD WORK and FUN...
Abby actually let me do her hair!
The spirit of this house is BEAUTY...

Crazy hair day:)

We have had countless Tea Parties...
Abby had to find something to do with the sugar
since she didn't need it for her hot chocolate.
Mmmm it made the brownies extra yummy!
and Princess Tea Parties.
The spirit of this house is ENCHANTMENT and IMAGINATION...

Princess Ellie with "Tea" on her belly
We ended the month on our feet with friends and
family all around.
The spirit of this house is LOVE!!!
Em and Syd came over to carve pumpkins.
Happy Halloween bring it on November!
