Christian Wallace!

My new nephew! Christian Wallace was born January 2nd. He was 8lbs 11oz and 20in. It was a very bitter sweet day. As excited as I am that he arrived safely and Lori is doing good. My heart longs to hold him and kiss those chubby cheeks. I can't wait to meet him in person but until then I know Auntie Barb is giving him lots of hugs and kisses from Aunt Ninny!
Look at all that dark hair! It's hard to believe he's Lori's she didn't have hair until she was 2yrs old. Chubby cheeks Auntie giving him Kisses for me!! Thanks Barb. Happy Wallace family!

Christmas!!!

I know I'm a huge slacker but I'm finally posting Christmas photos. The hardest part was picking the pictures to post. With multiple cameras going at once I got hundreds of priceless pictures. We spent 5 days strait with constant presents and lots of family fun. So it was imposable for me to narrow them down. I just stuck with Christmas day witch we spent in Elmo at Grandma's house with the Isham kids. Well they aren't really kids more like teens.

Trying to go to sleep Christmas Eve it's so hard waiting for Santa! Weston was so cute getting my kids all excited for Santa. What did he bring me?? It was a bit overwhelming to take in everything Santa brought. Emilie's kids were so patient waiting for our kids to finish completely before they opened any of their stuff! Fighting ducks! They each got a little rubber ducky. This simple toy has provided hours of entertainment. Thanks Santa! We got a Wii!!! (Poor Bryan lives downstairs his life will never be the same) The kids love to box and race each other they would do it for hours if I let them!A cupcake maker!!!! This was the one present she asked Santa for over and over.
See my new Kitty! Kye dumped out his stocking but scooped up all of the candy before anyone else could snitch one! Kye and Weston both got new leather jackets for Christmas. Malachi usually boycotts jackets and wasn't to excited about this one. Until he found out Weston and McKay both have one. He insisted on taking this picture. One of the boys told him it's cool to flip the collar so that's how he insists on wearing it. He really looks up to these boys I'm glad they are such good remodels! Abby said ok now it's my turn to take a picture with Sydnie!! Still wearing the Jacket the next day. He wouldn't take it off! You can't really tell but his collar is flipped.
It was a fun holiday. We had so much fun getting to know Samantha and Trey. It's so fun to spend holidays with cousins it just makes it that much more memorable. We missed Grandma and Grandpa Clarke but I'm sure Brady enjoyed them enough for all of us! I hope we will get to spend next year with them. Love you guys.

It's almost Christmas!!!

I'm so excited for this week to start I can't wait but as usual I think I have over booked myself.

Today- I get to be a part of my first ever PTA Mom Christmas party!!! It was kind of touch and go with Drill Sgt. Briggs. She hates anything that "distracts from learning" but it's Christmas and they're in Kindergarten so I say Party Time.

Tuesday- we will be driving to Bountiful for our annual build-a-bear party. We have a few changes in the family this year. Lynsie and Alan's sweet new daughter Samantha will be with us for the first time. She is nine and very excited or so I hear. I haven't got the opportunity to meet her yet but the kids and I can't wait! Parker and Jennie's baby Trey will be here for his 1st Christmas as well. It will be McKay's last Christmas at home before his mission. After Build-a-Bear I am heading up to Heber to spend some time with the Gibbs Kids. I miss them so much this year. We missed out on some fun family get togethers with the Clarke's this year. So pray for good weather with me so I will be able to travel safely. I also need to be in cell phone range so I can get the news of a sweet new baby. Lori good luck! If you don't have this baby soon I think Barb may come and preform a c-section while you are asleep lol.

Wednesday- Christmas Eve I will drive to Elmo to see Sue and her family for their Christmas Eve party. We may stay the night in Elmo depending on if Sam can come or not. He is on call for another holiday. So he won't be with me during all of my traveling and family time. I am so grateful to him for all of his hard work so that I can do these things. I am truly blessed to have such a loving hard working husband.

Thursday Christmas Day!!! I hope you all get your heart's desire.

I will be staying in Elmo until New Years eve to get some work done. So Christmas pic will take a while to post. I hope you all enjoy this season of Love, Hope and Joy! I know I'm going to love, love!

Here are some new pictures of the kids. Abby love her new sister so much. Ok ok I know his pants are on backwards and they aren't wearing shoes but it's still a cute picture. Abby is such a ham!

Malachi's Dino Exhibit

Malachi found this fun new toy where he had to dig some dinosaur bones out of a brick of dirt. It was so fun for about 20 minutes then he gave up and made me find all of the bones. He only came back to make the finishing blow and pull each bone out of the dirt. 2 and 1/2 hrs later we had all of the bones out and Sam helped Kye build a Stegosaurus. Malachi made tickets and set up his usual table to show off his Dino exhibit. He made us all go into the living room and sit through his "presentation".


See this is my dinosaur tooth I found it's really really .... um ... Old ya old! I had to dig this out very carefully. It took a long time. I'm not kidding mom it's not funny! Stegosaurus exhibit just like in Grandpa Ben's museum. ( Ben dos not own a museum but they did display his photos for a while in Price. So Malachi thinks it's Grandpa Ben's museum) Ok now take a picture like this! This is how I would look if he was alive I would bite my nails. Malachi was making this grand "look what I made" pose but Abby was not about to be left out. See she can act scared too!

We had a fun day full of family and food. Although I missed my family quit a bit this year. Most of Sam's family was together. We did miss all the Torgersons and the Isham kids. It was fun to have Grandma Nina there to enjoy the dinner. Her funny jokes just enriched our day. Sam got called out just before dinner but was able to stay and eat. He left shortly after dinner but the kids and I stayed the night (Jennie wanted to see twilight again and I couldn't pass that up). After the movie we had to stop at Walmart it was almost closing time and they had all the sale stuff out so we did some scouting. Jennie and I woke up after 2 and 1/2hrs of sleep to start off Black Friday with a bang! Then I headed up to Provo for some more shopping with Dottie, Emilie Lynsie and Kim. Before we left I took some car sickness med. but I wasn't paying attention and took a whole dose instead of my usual 1/2 oops. By 1:00pm I was so tired I was crying over nothen' at lunch. I couldn't figure out why I felt so yucky until on the way home Sam suggested I take some motion sickness med. It finally hit me I already had taken a full does for 24hrs. I slept from 5:00pm until 9:30am! Thanks Baby for taking the kids I love you.


Lynsie spent most of Thanksgiving day doing massages. She worked for quite a while on me, it was so nice. I was in dire need of her help. Thank you so much Lyns! Little Trey was so sweet and patient as we all passed him back and forth. This was supposed to be the kids table just Abby and Gavin but... First Gabbie joined the fun... before we knew it all 6 of the kids were squeezing into this tiny space to spend more time together. This picture is dark but Abby, Gabbie, Maddie, Gavin, Harry are stuffed around the table and Kye is the overflow on the tile. Our Thanksgiving table thanks Dottie, Jennie, Emilie, Alan and Ben for all your hard work while I was enjoying my massage! Oh and Ash and Kim for the yummy pies they were so good!I'll close by listing only a few of the many things I am thankful for.
First off I have to say I'm thankful for Sam. I know it's cliche but he works very hard so that I can stay home and enjoy our kids. He also takes charge as soon as he gets home, helping me with the kids or dinner whatever I need that night.
Next I am truly thankful for the gospel and the changes it has made in my life this last year we are truly a happy family.

Strep Throat

I had to wright a quick post about our day.

My kids have been sick off and on for the last week. Malachi was sick on Friday then better this week. Abby was a bit sick on Friday but was worse this week so I made her a Doc. appointment thinking Kye was ok. At dinner last night Kye said "my mouth is better but my neck hurts right here if you touch it". When he turned his head his neck had a huge lump right over that gland thingy. I hated to do it but I asked the doc to check out both kids today. He was sure Abby had strep before he even got the results back. So they swabbed Kye too. Both positive results meant "S-H-O-T-S". So we separated them. While Kye was distracted in the lobby we did Abby. She cried a bit but didn't put up much of a fight. When Malachi came back in the room Abby told him she got a shot. That was all Kye had to hear for the tears to start rolling. Abby stopped crying and started to laugh when the nurse took Kye's temp. She said "now you have to get one" I told her "shhh don't tell him that" she laughed and said "I think it hilarious" She sat in the chair while Sam the nurse and myself held kye down with all of our might. Malachi yelling Stupid nurse the whole time when we finally freed him he hit that stupid nurse. I was mortified but she just laughed. Malachi was still having a fit as Abby happily walked out with 2 balloons and a promise of ice cream. As we got in the car Sam pointed out the fact "Abby is a girl and she is fine aren't you tough?" "NO I'm not" Kye yelled back. Abby laughed "it wasn't that bad" she said rolling her eyes. She went on and on laughing and teasing the poor boy "I think it's hilarious that I get to have 2 balloons and you are still crying". She was ruthless with him and this made Abby laugh even harder. So for all of you out there who think Abby looks so sweet and girlie think again she is tough!
