When I ran across this in my search for baby quilt patterns I couldn't help but smile:) Dottie refers to me as the "Guardian of Grandma's(Nina's) Loblollies". I have been put on notice by Grandma Nina about what is to happen to her stuff when she is gone. I have all but signed in blood that noting will be lost without an owner. Especially if it came from Georgia, 90% of her kitchen is priceless. The sad part is I am now becoming attached to her loblollies and fear I may end up with way to much "STUFF" to handle.
Loblollies- A southern expression for piles of junk all around Grandma's house.
Her loblollies are also known as "Mom's stuff" to her boys they put an emphasis on the word stuff any time they say it.
P.S. Please DO NOT tell Grandma Nina I am looking for patterns. I have quite a few patterns from her that I cherish. But I am looking for something new. Thanks!
