8 year old BOYS!!

I love being a mom! I know it sounds cliche but I do, I was born for this job!! My sweet lil Kye Wolf turned 8 last month and I am enjoying so much the blessings of an 8 year old boy.

1st he chose to be Baptized. We did a lot of work so he could choose if this was right for him. This boy loves Jesus! Always has, since he could talk he would blow me away with the things he would teach me.
He had a large group of people with him that day, those we could see and those we could only feel.
Kye helps me in so many ways, he wakes up, makes his own bed, gets himself dressed, gets his own breakfast, and watches Bay-Blades. He unloads dishes and takes out trash but the thing he is best at is helping his baby sister with EVERYTHING!! My heart is filled with joy every time I watch him with her. Here he is reading to his sisters 1st thing in the morning...
This kid makes my "job"easier just by being who he is. So sure, he may smell like a boy and laugh at ridiculous potty words but I love his stinkin guts!

Part of the inspiration for this post today was, as I walked through my house, I found proof of my 8 year old everywhere;

By the front door...

In the kitchen...
On my computer desk... and a whole load of them on the book shelf!!

I love it! And I love and miss that Kye! Give him an 8th birthday hug from me.

This was such a great post. I love your writing, and your sweet thoughts. Loved the pictures of his little stashes all over and especially the one of him reading. I'm framing it!
